Reminders

There was a beautiful glass bowl left at the neighborhood party. Please help us find the owner. :)

This Saturday, September 20th, is our Ward Temple Day. This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in the blessings of the Temple and family history work with our ward family.  Anyone that would like to have the wards help in doing temple work for your family names are asked to get your cards to Brad Jones by Friday. He will take the cards to the temple early Saturday morning and they will be placed in the Recorder's office in a box. Members of the ward may select names out of the box throughout the day. We are asking everyone to use names that you bring or use names that are in the box rather than using names provided by the temple.

Please call Brother Brad Jones if you have any questions.  801-597-3049

Sunday, September 21st, the Ogden Temple Dedication will be held at the Stake Center. Our ward has been asked to attend the 10:00 a.m. session. Remember to bring your white handkerchief and you will also need your Temple Recommend or the special card available from the Bishop to be shown to get in.

  1. It was a joy to see so many of you in the temple yesterday. I know there were many who were not able to come. And there were many who came with whom we did not cross paths. It was a thrill to hear stories about the family names each of you brought to the temple or shared with each other.

It was special to feel the joy of a mother and daughter being sealed after years of their work being only partially done. That mother had several children who have been found and sealed to her. She had been sealed to her husband, but never endowed. Now she is and many of her children have their work done and they are sealed to her. The rest will follow soon.

And so it is . . . a joyful event whenever we meet in the temple. May all who see this know that we would meet with you there as often as we could. It is a place of rejoicing.

  2. Please claim the glass bowl left at the neighborhood party. It belongs to someone who brought watermelon! Kristen Dentienne gave the left over watermelon to Carli and we don't know who the bowl belongs to! Thanks!
