Temple / Family History Goal - 2022

A goal isn't a goal until it's written down. So this year as a Relief Society, we would like to encourage one another to write down our individual temple goals for this year.

Our suggestion would be to plan to attend the temple once every month and to bring a family name each time. For those who may not be able to attend, maybe plan an hour each month to work on family history or to do some simple indexing.

Once you have written down your individual goal, make sure to schedule that regular time in your calendar and with the temple.

Let's have a great experience this year! Blessings are just waiting for us!

💕The stake is requesting that all the sisters add an individual picture to LDS tools.
💕Please take a minute to do so if you have not already

Mourn with those who Mourn

Next week our Relief Society lesson is on sincere prayer. Please pay attention to your prayers this week especially as we mourn and ask for many to be comforted.  Elder Uceda in his conference address challenges us to ponder, "When you pray, are you really praying or just saying your prayers?" Do you follow the Savior's example in Gethsemane with "not my will but thine, be done."     I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Catherine Findlay

Just a note:  The Christmas Party is on Friday the second, not Saturday.

Ponderizing Before Ponderizing Was Cool

Hi Sisters in Zion!  (if you are here, you are in Zion, CB)

How we love you and that Savior and Redeemer of ours Jesus Christ!

Our October Sister2Sister Scripture is
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  Philippians 4:13

Take care of yourself and each other,

It's good to be alive especially when you know you are not alone.

warmest,

cc3rs presidency

P.S. Hear Draper Corner Canyon HS graduate Tanner Townsend sing "I Can Do All Things".

Lyrics:

There's a voice that tells me I'm not good enough, enough.
In my head, I can choose to believe it or not, or not.
And I know what I will choose, I will listen to the truth
With my Savior by my side, I'm not afraid.

Chorus:
I can do all things.
No mountain I can't climb;
There's nothing I can't be.
Oh, no matter how hard it may seem
I can do all things.

There's a call that resonates inside my heart, my heart.
To leave it all and go and serve my fellow man, and do my part.
And I know what I will choose, I will listen to the truth
With my Savior by my side, I'm not afraid.

Chorus

Oh, even those who feel alone
Teaching others He is there;
Don't have to make it on their own.

Chorus
